What is an Acupuncturist?

Acupuncturists are highly trained healthcare professionals who apply the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to help patients manage pain, recover from illness, and maintain long-term wellness. Through acupuncture and other holistic techniques, they support the body’s natural ability to heal and restore balance.

These practitioners are skilled in both traditional diagnostic methods and modern therapeutic tools. They are trained to care for people of all ages—from infants to the elderly—and take a whole-person approach to each treatment.

Dr. Nadia Schulkind has attained a BA in communication, Master of Science Traditional Oriental Medicine and Doctorate degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.

At Solare Acupuncture, Dr. Nadia specializes in mental and emotional health, combining her expertise in Chinese medicine with a compassionate, grounded presence. Each session is fully guided—you’re never left alone on the table. Nadia remains with you throughout your entire treatment, offering gentle support, nervous system regulation, and a space to deeply exhale.

Within the scope of Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncturists are equipped to support a wide range of conditions, including:

• Pain management & sports injuries

• Gynecology & fertility

• Pediatrics & geriatric care

• Mental health & emotional wellness

• Dermatology & cosmetic rejuvenation

• Immune support, oncology, and more

Acupuncturists bring not only clinical knowledge, but also deep empathy, sound judgment, and a calm, healing presence—meeting patients exactly where they are on their path to wellness.
